Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is looking for a Front End Developer to join an organization in the Sports/Entertainment industry. They have one of the most successful teams in NASCAR history, they're a leader in NASCAR marketing solutions and have produced award-winning social media, digital content, and marketing campaigns. The Developer will have the opportunity to design and develop modern software and cloud solutions to contribute to winning races for their 2 NASCAR Cup Series teams. Responsibilities:

  • Listen to user stories and translate that into working software solutions
  • Design/deploy cloud solutions using .NET, Java, and AWS tech stacks
  • Maintain existing code bases and modernize legacy solutions through fresh starts
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams as well as their competition

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript and React
  • Expert knowledge of C# and .NET stack preferred
  • Experience developing rich web applications, preferably using JavaScript-based or ASP.Net Core frameworks
  • Knowledge of standard design practices for relational and non-relational databases
  • Strong HTML/CSS skills
  • Knowledge of AWS tech stack preferred
  • Experience with DevOps tools and continuous delivery pipelines (Jira preferred)
  • Knowledge of relevant web standards, modern encryption, and security
  • Motorsport's experience - ideally from another motorsport team or company supporting software development for motorsports
