Job Description:

Responsible for designing and developing complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. At this level, specializations start to form in either Architecture, Test Engineering or DevOp. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance). Sets up and develops a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline. Automates manual release activities. Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack. Individual contributor.

The Global Risk Analytics team within Risk and Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, who develop industry leading financial management platforms that provide solutions to provide regulatory reporting globally.

We are looking for looking for a talented and highly motivated Lead Developer who is a hands-on developer with advanced skills in Java, Angular, Spring Boot and SQL server. The successful candidate should have experience developing, enhancing web applications. Candidate should have design skills like API design, UI design, Data Model design and should have worked on agile environment. Right candidate should have CI/CD experience especially applications running on containers. SSO Splunk and Tableau experience is big plus.

Role Overview:

Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology's Global Risk Analytics team is seeking a Lead Developer with experience of building enterprise scale web applications.

The successful candidate is expected to be both a leader and hands on developer, building features that will help FLUs to manage the risks.

This role will work with a team of talented engineers to develop and deliver complex business requirements and ensure the software meets functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, in an agile environment, with clear focus on high quality coding solutions, well tested interfaces with positive/negative unit tests and successful overall system integration.

Required Skills:
  • 5-7 years experience in Full Stack development, ideally using Java, Angular
  • Experience in databases (SQL Server)
  • Experience with Reporting tools like Tableau
  • Experience with CI/CD and Container Managed Applications
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning and problem solving

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
