One of my direct clients in the transportaion industry is looking for a Project Development Manager.Location: Cary, NC (This role will follow hybrid work schedule - Should be in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday and as required by the manager)Skills - Previous development exp a must, Project ManagementRate - DOEDuration - 12+ months, long-term, Fulltims ONLYClient details will be shared post technical call of the candidateProject Development ManagerKNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, ABILITIES/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIESCapability to understand customer applicationuse from the customer’s perspective – business needsKnowledge of multi-tier architecture technologyand its use, specifically Java, JavaScript, Apache tcServer/Websphere,PostgresSQ, AWS Services such as EKS, EC2, RDS, Route53, XML and messaging(MQ/Message Broker). In some cases knowledge ofOracle Financials may be required.Knowledge of User Experience (UX) andreusability concepts and their application highly desired.Broad understanding and experience of fulldevelopment life cycle.Knowledge of business analysis tools andtechniques requiredStrong interpersonal, communication,organization, and planning skillsDemonstrated strength in project managementmethodology and practiceStrong project leadership and management skillsrequired, including previous experience leading successful technical teams andprojectsMust possess initiative with strong analyticaland problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, andProjectCapable of managing multiple projects in afast-paced cross-functional development environmentWorks under heavy deadlines and is subject toextreme workloadsEDUCATION,EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/TRAININGBachelor’s degree in Computer Science OR equivalent field desiredMinimum of seven (7) years software development experience2 years of previous software development management/team lead experience requiredExperience with Agile, SCRUM preferred.PMP Certification preferred. Candidate shouldbe able to complete PMP within 90 days if not already certified.Agile certification (PMI or Scrum Alliance) preferred.Knowledge in AWS Technologies required.
