Seeking a Lead Technician with Mitigation experience.

Restoration services which include but are not limited to water, mold, fire, smoke, contents, and trauma scene. Camel City Restoration is looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills. As a lead technician, you will be responsible for managing individuals and/or teams during repairs damaged by disasters. The lead technician will also help to plan restoration projects, oversee technicians, ensure safety, and maintain communication with clients and insurance companies to restore properties efficiently and effectively.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Effectively perform all services the water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers

Coordinate and oversee the work of the technicians, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to our high company standards.

Communicate progress, problems, and important updates with internal team members.

Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction as it relates to the mitigation side of the business.

Clean and maintain all tools, equipment and supplies

Thoroughly document restoration projects

Inspect completed work.

Complete or oversee daily logs for each mitigation job

Complete or oversee any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required

Manage and oversee that any job related documents or receipts are scanned into customer file on proprietary software.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Provide training/coaching for technicians on company procedures, reporting, and performing services.

Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Verify all safety protocols are established and followed for workplace safety

Perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed or required

Technical

Is appropriately trained and / or certified and effectively performs all production work within the company or assigned division.

The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work, as well as that of the other crew members, to ensure quality.

Technology

Regularly uses standard word processing, spreadsheets, job management software tools, and available hardware to report job activities and create required documentation, including photos of job sites.

Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education and Experience

High school diploma (or GED) plus two (2) to four (4) years of industry experience.

Mathematical Skills

Adequate math skills. Ability to compute percentages and to verify the reasonableness of estimates, financial data, and reports within the context of information provided.

Computer Skills

Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Word, Excel, and applicable job management software.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Certification in performing appropriate services: Carpet Maintenance, Water Mitigation, Mold, etc.

This job is physically demanding, and the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and lift or move items that may be in excess of 40 pounds.

Working Conditions

The work of this position is predominantly carried out on the customer’s property. Employee will encounter facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred and mold or other organic growth exists. Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is typical.

Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
