Handyman for Property Management Company

Community Room Rental is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to join our team! This role will work on the Property Management team, closely with the Property Manager to ensure all projects and work orders are completed on time and within the project guidelines.

Role Responsibilities:

● Task Management in the project management system for deliverables

● Self starter

● Managing, prioritizing, and being accountable for the delivery of results

● Skills in minor HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing

- Change out electrical outlet

- Replace air filters

- Install door knobs/replace batteries

- Replace thermostats when broken

- Unclog toilets/sinks

- Drywall repair

- Door installation

- Replacing light fixtures

- Interior and Exterior painting

Qualifications:

● 1+ years of experience as a maintenance tech for a property management company

● Experience in a tenant-facing role - some minor interactions with tenants but must be professional

● Certifications of any kind are a plus

● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

● Ability to collect and understand data

● Detail oriented
