(this includes, but is not limited to, for purposes of payroll, health benefits, retirement options, and applicable policies).Summary:Provides the highest-level technical expertise in the development, modification and implementation of software systems designed to support new or existing business, clinical, and/or administrative computerized needs across the health care system. Responsible for all technical phases of projects and regularly lead entire projects that involve multiple departments and entities.Position requires 7+ years of supporting business applications for Radiation Oncology or Real-time Location Systems. Specifically, experience supporting Elekta Mosaiq, Raysearch Raystation, LifeLine RadCalc, or Stanley Aeroscout is highly preferred. Further experience supporting clinical applications in an inpatient setting is also preferred. Responsibilities:

  • The applicant must be willing to provide support in a 24/7 environment which will include rotating on-call support duties during off hours, weekends and holidays. Work schedules may include some after hours and weekend assignments based on project demands.
  • Demonstrates project management skills, advanced technical abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, internal ISD teams, and users of all skill levels
  • Coordinates fiscal year project roadmaps and collaborates with junior colleagues to fulfill project demand management requirements
  • Performs due diligence reviews of vendor quotes and contracts to ensure completeness and accuracy relative to products, amounts, prices, and adherence to ISD contract guidelines
  • Provides oversight for the attainment of service level expectations and the accuracy of service asset portfolios
  • Mentors junior colleagues while managing projects and mission critical operational activities concurrently
  • Assists Manager in staff recruiting and provides feedback on staff performance
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develops project plans, prepares estimates of labor hours, tracks tasks and project status, prepares reports. Audits the progress of less experienced staff. Ensures deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Leads activities as a technical expert in highly specialized areas of applications development. Provides leadership and direction to project team and technical team with regards to computer application or database management systems implementation, design, analysis, programming and support. Responsible for system design.
  • Leads the formulation, definition, and detail development of application system scope and objectives. Performs hands on technical assignments, which include coding development, problem resolution, and design within project.
  • Provides database system design and engineering support to application development staff including table design, performance optimization, adaptability engineering, and application troubleshooting.
  • Provides direction to project team and technical team involved with computer database management systems implementation, design, and support. Coordinates activities of other technical staff and leads development for complex systems design and problems.

    • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
    Licensure/Certification Requirements:
    • No licensure or certification required.
    Professional Experience Requirements:
    • If a Bachelor's degree: Eight (8) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
    • If an Associate's degree: Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
    • If a High School diploma or GED: Sixteen (16) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
