You will be supporting local and field users, in this a role that has a positive impact on both the department and the company. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a contract to hire role, which will be full time. The hours for this role are 7pm-7am, Friday-Sunday.Your responsibilities1. Monitor scheduling console for failures and long executing processes/tasks, and take necessary corrective action as defined in run instructions or vendor documentation.2. Load and monitor printer and examine reports produced to minimize print quality issues.3. Separate and distribute printed reports, accurately using established check lists.4. Escalate hardware and software failures to the appropriate support group or vendor.5. Effectively document all failures and steps taken to resolve issues using the incident management system.6. Effectively Complete shift turnover and other daily required documentation. 7. Monitor system backups to ensure successful and timely completion.8. Maintain physical security of the data center; ensure policies are being adhered to.9. Monitor environmental controls to ensure optimal efficiency with machines running within the data center. 10.Interface with the Production Control, development staff and user community as needed to support daily operations and projects.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Augment other shifts as needed ensuring coverage.2.Assist Computer Operations with tasks and projects as dictated by business needs.
