Job Description:
As part of the Independent Technical Assessment (ITA) team you willhave the unique ability to:- Have direct impact on how well the bank is positioned from a technology point of view
- Use your analytical skills and technology experience to influence senior leaders
- Shape a culture of risk identification and sustainable risk reduction
- Apply technical knowledge and experience in the assessment of capabilities and processes
- Conduct technical testing of key processes and procedures within Global Technology
- Identify key risks, gaps or opportunities for improvement with a strong understanding of risk management
- Coach and provide leadership to new and junior members of the team
- Manage complex work efforts with appropriate rigor and follow through
- Analyze data to identify themes and potential common risks and assessment scope across Global Tech
- Leverage experience and connections to engage appropriate subject matter experts and key stakeholders
- Influence others to achieve common objectives
- On occasion, effectively manage third parties in conducting assessments
- Proven technical experience with an ability to navigate the Global Technology organization, assess technical capabilities, and translate technical terminology. Technical testing experience is a plus.
- Results-oriented leader who can achieve results across teams based on trust, credibility, teamwork and knowledge.
- Exhibits a working knowledge of Bank of America and Global Technology risk management / risk framework, processes and tools; ability to identify, debate and escalate risk.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate at an executive level.
- Working knowledge of process management and the ability to assess the effectiveness of a process and corresponding controls.
- Works among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
- Experience leading projects with an ability to apply structure and drive execution.
- Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on facts and evidence.
- Good sense of judgment, knows when to escalate and how to manage expectations.
- Builds strong partnerships, works across boundaries, and effectively influences.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) with the ability to create executive level presentations
