Description This role is HYBRID in one of these location, Charlotte, NC / Columbus, OH / Minneapolis, MN / Detroit, MI / Chicago, IL / Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX Will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, designing cutting-edge technology solutions, and creating a roadmap for leveraging new technologies to enhance our service offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services landscape, emerging technologies, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation.Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the innovation strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals and market trends in financial services.

Identify opportunities for innovation within existing processes, products, and services to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI, machine learning, fintech solutions) and assess their potential impact on financial services.

Design and architect innovative technology solutions that address business challenges and leverage new market opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment on innovation initiatives.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, industry experts, and technology partners, to gather insights and feedback on innovation efforts.

Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate new ideas and technologies.

Utilize agile methodologies to iterate on designs and gather user feedback to refine solutions.

Develop strategies for change management to facilitate the adoption of innovative solutions within the organization.

Provide training and support to teams to ensure successful implementation and utilization of new technologies.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities in the financial services industry.

Stay informed on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in innovation initiatives.

Establish metrics to evaluate the success of innovation initiatives and their impact on business objectives.

Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on innovation progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology architecture, innovation management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field

Strong understanding of financial services products, processes, and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.

Experience in cloud, programming, and data platforms.

Knowledge of fintech innovations and emerging technologies applicable to financial services.

Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, or similar) are a plus.
