A1 Floors is a local, family owned, and operated flooring company. We are looking for an experienced individual with flooring installation knowledge, strong customer service, and problem solving skills to join our team to assist managing our installation teams!
Responsibilities:
-Full time flooring installation/Warehouse Manager, Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM (Saturday's and emergencies as needed/as installations are going on).
- Stage out and load up installers for their installation.
- Take in deliveries and maintain warehouse, ability to operate a forklift.
- Oversee the installation process for various projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Additionally, be able to give feedback and suggestions to crews on site to improve their craft and results.
- Interview, hire, fire, run meetings with, and get necessary paperwork filled out accordingly.
- Assist installers as needed (eg pick up/deliver material, lend a hand, etc).
-Assist with customer product deliveries.
- Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to schedule installations and ensure all parties involved understand expectations.
-Ability to communicate and resolve any issues that may arise with great customer service.
- Manage a team of installation technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide accurate measurements and estimates if change orders occur during professional installations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to review project specifications to ensure feasibility, and provide feedback regarding errors and mistakes to help for future circumstances.
- Ability to learn and utilize flooring software program used (Floorzap) and be able to enter correct data accordingly.
- Ability to price addon's accordingly (as related to bottom line) as well as create quote and walk customer's through signing off.
Experience:
- Proven flooring installation experience with strong knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and equipment, preferably experience as a supervisor or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read flooring diagrams, cut sheets, etc.
- Proficient in using computer software for project management, scheduling, and documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and customers.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team of installation technicians.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation. (work van or company will provide).
- Must have related tools for flooring work.
- Must have valid NC drivers license.
- Must have a functioning cell phone and be reachable.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Preferably ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently.
