responsible for insulating various parts of the transformer such as angle
rings, cylinders, etc. using paper insulation. This position is crafted for
someone who brings a blend of technical expertise and a dedication to safety

support us in growing the department by assisting in the training and

before.HowYou’ll Make an Impact
Perform insulation of various small transformer components andparts of current transformers.
Interpret technical drawings to determine insulation requirements,including type of paper, thickness, and overlap.
Prepare all vital insulation materials for the process.
Inspect conductor material for sharp edges or deformities beforestarting the insulation process, and measure and evaluate process atspecific stages to ensure correct tolerances.
Conduct final inspections and quality checks to meet technicalrequirements and standards.
WhatYou Bring
High school degree or equivalent with relevant technicaltraining/experience.
At least 2 years of experience in the insulation of transformerparts or of similar electrical equipment
Ability to use math, read and interpret sophisticated drawings, andperform complex measurements.
Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift License anda Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working inheights.
Applicant must obtain Keys certification test on reading andwriting and Blueprint reading test offered by local community college.
Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate leadershipskills to eventually become a trainer/mentor for new hires in the future.
Other Key Requirements:· Successful applicants
must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
Must also be ableto read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructionsin English.
Must bewilling to relocate temporarily to Mexico or Brazil for on-the-job training fora period of 3 months or more based on the proficiency in the area of training.Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
