To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals.This exciting role will provide you the ability to develop or polish your professional skills by working to identify issues and defining problems to come up with possible solutions for account resolution. You’ll work closely with our internal team and customers to provide answers or solutions to their inquiries regarding their accounts. Plus, maintain various processes for credit support including lien releases, new accounts, pre-lien notifications and administrative functions. Finally, act as our liaison between customers and branches, you will help us maintain positive relationships while meeting the established goals and objectives of our Credit Department.The intern will leave this position with invaluable skills and industry knowledge of United Rentals, with the goal of joining the company upon receipt of degree.Additional responsibilities include the following: Monitor and respond to internal and customer inquiries within the allotted timeframe to maintain our world class customer service Process invoice submissions/resubmissions into various customer portals. Assist with invoice rejections and disputes Analyze and rectify payment misapplications to ensure our records match the customers Process credit card payments that are distributed by our customers and apply customer payments Make outbound calls to discuss and secure payments arrangements to reduce our overall delinquency Update mainframe system with all billing and collections attempts including disputes Analyze and rectify payment misapplications to ensure our records match the customers Update vital account records to ensure payments are received timely Complete lien waivers to expedite payment from our customers Complete projects that are assigned by our leadership team Participate in our continuous training problem Achieve or exceed the credit department monthly metrics Provide excel reporting as required per customer accountEducation Must be currently pursuing a BA/BS/AA degree in Business or related majorExperience Prior relevant work experience preferred, but not requiredOther Skills Strong computer skills (excel, troubleshooting, outlook, etc.) Strong analytical, problem solving communication, and organizational skills. Works well with frequent interruptions, deadlines, creative thinking, Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while managing y, frequent disruptions and making decisions based on incomplete information. Works well with minimal supervision and with some latitude for self-directed action. Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
