Job Overview

TE Connectivity is now hiring anInventory Control Clerk at our plantin Fuquay-Varina, NC.This is a 2nd shift opportunity with working hours of Monday-Friday 1 pm -10 pm.

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience, and 6 months to 1 year experience operating power equipment such as various lifts and pallet jacks.

Job Summary: A successful inventory control clerk is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle count duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The inventory control clerk will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting and accurate processing of material reports and system transfers.


Daily duties:

  • Cycle count materials based on “ABC” methodology which will be monitored by the InventorySupervisor.
  • Assist with researching inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and location reports.
  • Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Be able to carefully and safely drive the order picker and other warehouse equipment.
  • Always maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

What your background should look like:

  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience (3 years preferred)
  • Warehouse equipment (forklift) experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
