Enable a new facility through deployment of IT hardware in manufacturing areas!The RTP IT team is actively looking for an excellent teammate for the deployment activities for manufacturing hardware. This includes thin clients, qualified infrastructure platforms, manufacturing workstations, and other peripherals. If so, please apply!What You'll Be Doing:You will be responsible for IT manufacturing hardware deployment at the RTP manufacturing site. This includes coordination and collaboration with automation, engineering, IT infrastructure, and operations.How You'll Succeed:- You'll work with speed and efficiency to install and configure workstation hardware, software, and required peripherals to enable start-up of new manufacturing lines.
- With your experience supporting manufacturing, you'll bring the ability to solve technical issues on platforms including Citrix, Linux, Windows OS, iGel technology, and workstation hardware.
- Working multi-functionally you will provide the strategy for immediate and lifecycle upgrades of hardware and software applications.
- You will develop and provide technical design information to assist with validation of new and existing systems.
- Solid understanding of software applications and infrastructure platforms, including configuration and problem solving.
- Capacity to establish positive interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively with business partners.
- Experience providing technical support in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently while using existing Lilly processes and while crafting new processes that support the start-up nature of the RTP site
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- High School Diploma/GED with demonstrated ability as an IT helpdesk associate
