Please send resumes This IT Manager role will be hands on in leading a small team of technical support personnel. Will provide everything from system administration and network engineering to desktop support and level 1 help desk support. Will be responsible to help improve and maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, networks, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.

DUTIES:
  • Support the ongoing IT business needs of large division of software engineers and QA engineers.
  • Develop and implement strategy to ensure availability of key infrastructure with minimum down time.
  • Construct and implement plans to ensure that the company’s network is secure.
  • Develop and implement strategies for backup, Anti-Virus, Security updates.
  • Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team.
  • Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network.
  • Will work on IT projects, such as data center moves, system upgrades, software rollouts.
  • Purchasing new hardware and software, renewing existing licenses and contracts.
  • Oversee offsite datacenter.
  • Manage small team of system administrators, network engineers and desktop support analysts.
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 7+ experience overall IT infrastructure experience
  • 3+ years experience with VMWare, VCenter, Active Directory
  • 2+ experience in managing IT teams
  • Experience with network support
  • Strong people management skills including delegation, motivation, development, and coaching
  • Excellent communication skills
DESIRED:
  • Experience with TFS, SCCM and scripting
  • Experience with networking including routers, switches, firewalls
