Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC (Locals Only Hybrid Mode)

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:a. IT has completed a project to map out its three-year strategy, including a list of items to complete in the next 12 months. We are looking for a project manager to now run the governance and execution of these tasks.i. Overlay ‘criticality’ and ‘difficulty’ on top of tasks to begin completing quick winsii. Create formal program (governance, timeline, and owners - Ensure regular updates to IT leadership)iii. Own and track completion of “?12 month” items as well as increase focus to the next phase of deliverables as the time comesiv. Create SharePoint with artifacts for building out our internal strategy document and underlying frameworkb. Personally run a few of the strategy tasks (i.e. one could be running a talent assessment for our full IT organization)c. Project manage specific tasks requested by IT chief of staff. An example of a project could be helping with organizational change management for a shift to a new demand planning software Top 3 Required Skillsets:a. Program managementb. Very strong communication and PowerPoint skills – can take unstructured information, structure it, and create a full slide deck with storylinec. Experience running IT organizational programs including organizational change managementTop 3 Nice to Have Skillsets:a. Experience reporting out to and communicating with executives including CIO levelb. IT project management experience and understanding of terminology including technical acumen (i.e. in the spaces of infrastructure and network)c. Experience executing IT internal operational (chief of staff) type work including talent assessments, standing up centers of excellence, creating PPT operational dashboards, etc.)Task break down (by %):a. Project planning: 5%b. Project management: 35%c. PowerPoint and communication: 30%d. Organizational change management: 30%
