TCI has an immediate need for an

IT Specialist in Raleigh, NC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. Hybrid remote work is permitted with three days onsite in Raleigh, NC and two days offsite.

SUMMARY The IT Specialist will conduct assessments, evaluations, selections, site surveys, requirements analysis and definition, technology prototyping, and cost analyses related to information technology. The IT Specialist will identify new and emerging technology to support strategic planning initiatives required to meet business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The IT Specialist will facilitate the transfer of information technology and recommend changes in technology which support new and/or revised business practices; does not code applications.
  • Create and maintain processes, policy checks, configuration diagnostics, report generation, and compliance scripts.
  • Perform maintenance work on ISE and contribute input in policy adoption and configuration.

REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressively more difficult experience in developing, researching, testing, implementing and/or integrating new information technology to support existing business systems.
  • Bachelors Degree in information systems, business, computer science, or related field. Work experience may substitute for college, but not vice versa.
  • Working knowledge of Stealth watch
  • Training or actual hands-on experience with the contractors Total Quality Management or Business Process Re-engineering programs.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to formulate and document proposed solutions in comprehensive quantitative, and qualitative terms appropriate for comparative analysis.
  • Ability to read, write and test software specified in delivery order to the proficiency required by the delivery order.

  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security clearance.
