Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking an IXB Engineering Director to manage their teams working in AWS. This position is 100% remote. Candidate must sit in NC, TX, OH, FL, TN, or DC. Candidate must be able to travel between offices (NY, NC, and TX). The selected candidate must be fully vaccinated. Responsibilities:

  • Work with several teams to develop requirements for Common Services; work to maintain detailed functional and technical specifications and user guides
  • Ensure Common Services acts like a product with regular updates
  • Support the operation of the common components and services
  • Ensure adherence to change management and risk policies

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Experience developing highly secure applications, transaction processing systems
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and developers using Scum based development
  • Understanding of Cloud and On-Premise application architectures and design patterns
  • Experience working with XML schemas
  • COVID-19 vaccine: must be fully vaccinated prior to starting assignment
