Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Java 8 Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Raleigh, NC. 6 Month Contract to Start Onsite work from day one in Raleigh - this is NOT a remote position Responsibilities :

  • Technical delivery related to Repo, Collateral & Margin platforms for Business initiatives and Front to Back Programs
  • Formulate and execute strategy to mitigate/ eliminate end of life technical stack (Components and Dependencies)
  • Consolidate & standardize technical components supporting business processes (e.g. Margin Issuance, Disputes, Settlements)
  • Senior Developer with a strong focus on delivery Impact analysis, Design, Hands on development, and implementation
  • Exposure to various design patterns, best practices and problem solving skills
  • Performance tuning
  • Strong controls/compliance culture
  • RCM IT is part of Global Markets, providing functions for Repo Trading, Liquidity, Margin and collateral globally
  • Margin Services IT team provides support to systems that provides collateral management solutions for OTC Derivatives and Repo products. The IT development team is based in New York, New Jersey, Raleigh and Pune, India.
Required Skills :
  • Java 8

  • Deep understanding of RMI, Object serialization and storage, inter process communication, Java internals and low level programming
  • MICROSERVICES and Spring framework
  • Oracle/RDBMS - PL/SQL
