Java/Calypso Developer

Position: Java/Calypso Developer Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid Onsite/Remote Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open Interview: Video Our client is seeking a Calypso Developer for an upcoming migration and upgrade to V17. Will work on a mix of mandatory change, RTB and project work in both Front Office and Back Office.

• Implement Calypso V17 Upgrade
• Oversee Migration/Decommission
• Calypso Integrated Rates and Credit, system of record, risk calculation, IPV, CCAR, CVA
• Calypso Derivatives Back Office, derivatives accounting, payments processing

• Hands on experience with Calypso Development, Calypso Upgrade, Customization
• Calypso Developer with core java experience
• 8+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience in Calypso Development
• Hands on development background on Calypso platform and Calypso version Upgrade
• Substantial experience in Java EE with deep understanding of Spring Framework
• Working knowledge of Databases including Design, SQL proficiency, and Stored Procedure creation
• Familiarity with Unix Environment (basic commands) and batch scripting languages (shell/perl/python)
• Strong development skills with ability to understand technical design and translate the same into workable solution
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and work on the same to meet business requirements
• Excellent communication and technical writing
