This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, overseeing maintenance crews, and ensuring that our services meet or exceed client expectations. If you are passionate about landscaping and customer service, Yard-Nique offers a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where your contributions will make a significant impact.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain proactive communication and positive business relationships with all clients, property managers, HOAs, and other stakeholders to ensure retention in accordance with Yard-Nique standards.Manage and understand maintenance contracts and execute maintenance production schedules to meet or exceed contract-specific expectations.Proactively conduct property evaluations and client meetings to assess needs and client satisfaction; troubleshoot problems when necessary. Attend board meetings when requested.Identify and provide enhancement ideas and solutions to customers; partner with the Sales team in identifying new opportunities.Manage budget, reporting, and account billing according to established procedures; coordinate with internal partners to ensure resolution of issues.Partner with the Project Manager on leadership to landscape maintenance crews comprised of 3-5 employees. Effectively utilize labor and other resources to adequately meet coverage plan requirements.Administer all performance management tasks and activities, including the annual review process, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, on-the-job training, and administering discipline as needed.Partner with HR and the Project Manager to ensure a positive employee experience from onboarding through exit.Work collaboratively with peers and Yard-Nique senior leadership team on various projects and initiatives.QualificationsAS or BS degree in Horticulture, Construction, Customer Relationship Management, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.Experience coaching and managing employees responsible for landscaping duties or other related industry labor.Ability to effectively build positive working relationships with clients.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Demonstration of an unwavering commitment to safety.Competencies and Desired CharacteristicsAdaptability and sound judgment when faced with multiple, competing priorities.Ability to resolve problems with a strong sense of urgency and collaboration.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of landscape maintenance operations.Strong customer service orientation.Effective people management skills.Collaboration and teamwork.Business acumen.Ethical conduct.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has supervisory responsibility for maintenance production teams.Work EnvironmentThis position is exposed to a normal office environment and is occasionally subjected to weather, extreme, or hazardous conditions.Physical DemandsThis position handles office equipment and tools such as phones, copy and fax machines, computers, etc.TravelDaily travel between properties is expected.
