The Lead Engineering Cloud job designs the planning for the company's cloud platform. Working under limited supervision, this job develops operational plans for the processes and standards of developing the organization's technology architecture through the creation of a new cloud platform design. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the information systems architecture and engineering field internally and externally to the organization.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Collaborate with various stakeholders on the strategic vision for the enterprise leveraging cloud, managed solutions and traditional capabilities; make recommendations on new solutions and technologies

Designs and develops new, cutting edge cloud platform within the organization.

Ensures cloud platform allows business applications to transform into scalable, elastic systems that can be created on demand.

Performs hardware and software infrastructure updates and identifies improvements with the cloud infrastructure.

Communicates with management to provide updates and ensure integration of new system with existing operations to support the organization's cloud strategy.

Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level information technology professionals to ensure high-quality and timely completion of projects.

Understand the platform technical and business roadmap and ensure that all initiatives are aligned with the roadmap

Design and develop technical solutions of new software development and enhancement efforts. Formulates system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.

Review flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.

Review technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the product.

Manage delivery on all project and operational commitments, including quality and timeliness metrics. Focus on go-to-market solutions with strategic business value.

Evaluate and implement changes to existing systems and document as necessary. Coordinate development and unit testing phases of system development and facilitate Code Reviews

Identify and document all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed changes.

Establish and implement product lifecycle plans along with CI/CD pipelines for analytics products

Approve domain solutions and execute changes in line with the implementation plan.

Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and other stakeholders to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.

Collaborate with Senior Leadership on product strategy, roadmap, risks and opportunities, along with corrective action plans when required.

Educate and train users on product function through creation of training materials and demos.

Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems.

Coach, mentor, and delegate work to other team members.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in technology delivery in solving Data Engineering problems and working with Data at Scale.

Experience with AWS Cloud or Google Cloud data analytics eco-systems.

Preferred Skills

Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Applied Math, Statistics or related field,

Machine learning, data modeling experience for prediction and forecasting

Experience in the Financial Industry, Financial data analysis and modelling products
