Lead Java Software Engineer

We are now looking for a Lead Java Software Engineer. This is a full time permanent hire position in Raleigh, North Carolina with our client. In this role as a Lead Java Software Engineer you will lead two development teams focused on building a new API led platform and migrating major corporate customers to it, providing day-to-day management and direction to accomplish on-time, efficient delivery of product development goals. Your time will be split 60/40 in favor of team leadership while also providing technical expertise for product integration.

• 7+ years of experience building Java Web applications with some leadership experience gained within an agile software engineering team in some capacity
• Knowledge and experience in back-end technologies such as Java, REST, and SQL.
• Experience with large complex systems operating in a cloud environment, with strong knowledge of AWS architecture, security practices, and deployment models
• Experience working in a multi-tenant production environment
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience Required
