- Define the test strategies for Functional, Automation, Regression and Smoke Testing
- Understand and implement the testing processes utilizing adequate QA tools & processes
- Deploy and manage test frameworks; define and implement QA metrics framework.
- Own (Lead) / Contribute (Member) to the end-to-end testing tasks like scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, resource management, test design & execution, defect management, progress tracking & status reporting, management reporting, UAT support, test closure etc.
- Prepare functional and automation test plans and coordinate for timely availability of test data & environments
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams and support partners across US & India
- Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals / milestones, task status, and identify / address issues or risks

- Proficient in DataStage, Informatica, SSIS, SSRS, OBIEE, OAC and Tableau reports testing

- Strong experience in ETL testing with experience in IRW (Investment Reporting Warehouse) & Financial domain
- Excellent Domain Knowledge on Securities, Mortgages, Derivatives, Peoplesoft and Investments
- Significant understanding on Budget & Forecasting, Actuarial
- Experience with Data warehouse ETL testing, and strong analytical skills
- Hands on experience in ePAM source system by SSGX
- Experience in APEX and FileNet applications process validation
- Experience in understanding DW concepts
- Should have strong SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server or equivalent)
- Experience in data analysis/Data Modelling
- Experience in handling PII data
- Experience in UNIX and scheduling tools (Ex: Autosys)
- Solid knowledge to strategize testing on running/analyzing Batch Files, Interfaces, Upstream/Downstream feeds
- Experience in testing of ETL test scripts based on technical specifications/Technical Design Documents and Source to Target mappings
- Ability to query database to validate data / ability to view and compare data files to identify differences
- Ability to use the appropriate automation tools from the available options within TIAA and drive automation planning, Implementation and Execution.
- Ability to work with 3rd party vendors, when necessary, to start services, run jobs, etc. As we are testing in SaaS environment, we have limited control over certain aspects of the environment.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development process.
- Good understanding of financial mathematics, Actuarial and controller systems.
- Enterprise Automation – Robotic Process Automation
- Performance Testing knowledge preferred
- Ability to take an active, visible role in supporting change efforts (change agent)
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvement
- Excellent understanding of Finance domain
- Good understanding of data warehouse and ETL process; and related testing processes
- Good understanding on Batch processes and related testing
- Excellent in SQL and data analysis skills
- Excellent in MS excel and other MS office applications
- Automation Scripting Experience –Selenium, ETL Validator or similar toolset
- Testing Certifications Ex: ISTQB, HP UFT Certifications, PMP and Oracle Certifications etc.
