This is a multi-year contract with one of our customers with the core business of building products into Network and Cloud Space. Role: Linux System Administrator Location: Cary, NC Term: Long Term [3+ Years] Responsibilities: Demonstrated experience in LINUX installation, configuration, and upgrading of Linux systems and servers. Linux OS administration - Ubuntu, Centos, and RedHat Demonstrable experience in Linux Server Support, designing, troubleshooting, and storage implementation. Ability to articulate standard methodologies during implementation. Proven experience in risk-based systems running on UNIX / LINUX platforms along with OS clustering, partitioning, and virtualization. Demonstrated experience in handling day-to-day UNIX-LINUX operating system installation, migration, and break-fix support. Basic network troubleshooting skills - DNS/DHCP/VLAN/Trunk/Firewall Support Vmware 6.5/6.7 cluster environment Managing and maintaining NAS/SAN infrastructure Active Directory administration - GPO, Event Log Audit is a Plus Maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers environment - 2012/2016/2019/2022 is a Plus Apply Windows Patches, Remediate Windows Vulnerabilities, troubleshoot update is a Plus Soft skills: Critical thinker/problem solver should come up with solutions, not just problems. Self-motivated and responsible, works independently, and is part of the remote team well. Good communication skills.
