Looking for a licensed esthetician / receptionist part time who is interested in assisting a lead esthetician while training in corrective skincare. Beginning with receptionist duties (hourly pay) and moving into esthetics role paying by commission or hourly at a higher rate of pay and separate from receptionist hours. The goal will be establishing most or all hours in the role of esthetics. Treatment room, protocols, equipment, supplies and training are provided. A current North Carolina esthetics license required for this position. Basic computer skills required. Anything beyond basic computer knowledge will be significantly considered in relation to the position, its implications and applications of the skills after an initial period of evaluation may be taken into consideration in the hourly rate of pay for the receptionist role. Specifically looking for a clinician who is passionate about developing skills in corrective skincare as their primary focus in developing their career, while also being committed to learning and improving their standards of quality of care, practice of infection control and cross contamination prevention procedures.
Ability to work independently and be a “self starter” not requiring to be micro-managed to stay productive. Ability to identify tasks without a managing task master as well as ability to think ahead and complete essential task before leaving, time management a must. Also able to act as a strong team player that has focus on advocating for the business and the community of clientele is an absolute necessity. It will be required to bring a positive, sustainable, supportive, willing and productive influence into the workplace environment. Cleaning is required and expected as part of the employment description. Communication skills are essential in all aspects. Starting position with a minimum of two days a week, Mondays required with flexibility as to Thursday or Friday as the second scheduled work day. Beginning hours 9:30 to 5 with esthetics hours being established by the scheduling of appointments on the calendar and evolving into maintaining the calendar as your scheduled. The amount of days you open your schedule to clients will be a minimum of two days per week but can vary based on your preference and availability for work days as the position evolves from a receptionist position and into esthetics hours only. Minimum of two days a week but additional hours/days will be made available as an option moving forward. This is a long term position with training in specialized protocols and will require a non-compete agreement.
