Logging Equipment Operator - Forwarder

We are looking at fill the position of forwarder operator for our 830 Timberpro. Job duties include hauling logs to roadside deck, sorting logs by destination, and loading trucks. Daily and scheduled machine maintenance is expected. Familiarity with tree species by bark and log sorts, and experience running log loader or similar equipment is appreciated. Candidate must have reliable transportation, adhere to safe operating procedures, physical fitness to board and de-board machinery and navigate occasional brush and rough steep terrain, and have a can-do attitude. Pay is $22/hr - $28/hr, depending on experience. Work is within commute distance of Asheville, NC. Respond via Craigslist.
