Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including home care, hospice care, and behavioral health environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Provide basic medical care, including catheter care and monitoring vital signs.

Support patients in maintaining their comfort and dignity while delivering high-quality care.

Document patient interactions and care provided using medical documentation systems like eClinicalWorks and Epic.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding patient needs and progress.

Skills

Experience working with children or in pediatric settings is highly desirable.

Familiarity with hospice care practices and principles.

Knowledge of behavioral health challenges and appropriate interventions.

Proficiency in catheter care techniques.

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.

Experience using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is a plus.

Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Experience in home care settings is beneficial.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
