Machinist /Toolmaker

We are looking for a Machinist / Toolmaker to make machine parts for automated machines and fixtures.

Leadership roles available

Responsibilities:

Assist in creation and building of custom machines and fixtures.

Make machine parts on manual and CNC equipment efficiently and within tolerance.

Inspect parts during machining process.

Qualifications:

Positive attitude and strong work ethic needed.

5+ years of shop experience

Vocational school or journeyman preferred.

Great manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail

Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements

Ability to read blueprints and manuals

Knowledge of metal properties.

Experience in using manual equipment including vertical mills, engine lathes, and surface grinders.

Experience in using and programming semi-automated machines (Proto-Trak and Accurate) a plus.

Valid NCDL and transportation is a must.

Fulltime position: 40 hours - five days a week

Part-time position: Flexible times nights and weekends available
