Job Title: Maintenance Controls TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Maintenance Controls Technician, you will lead in PM capability, work order completion, breakdown elimination, and provide technical support aimed at achieving operational targets such as safety, quality, and efficiency. Your role will mainly focus on work orders and issues related to controls, instrumentation, or electrical systems but will also support mechanical work orders as needed. You will identify and mitigate risks, lead and coach root cause problem solving, communicate priorities effectively, and escalate issues within and across shifts under the guidance of the controls leader. Responsibilities also include supporting the development and execution of maintenance strategies such as Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL), Center Line (CL), and Defect Management. You will maintain equipment running conditions, troubleshoot issues, recommend adjustments, and perform mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on various manufacturing equipment.Hard Skills

Advanced controls and electrical skills

Experience in maintenance/reliability in a manufacturing company

Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and controls

Familiarity with AB PLC fundamentals

Soft Skills

Ability to convey communications clearly and concisely

Ability to work directly with all levels and functions within the plant

Effective problem-solving skills

Capability to handle ambiguity effectively

Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Henderson, North Carolina.Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves working in a dog food manufacturing facility, dealing with various manufacturing equipment such as filling systems, conveyors, and palletizers. The role requires full mobility, including the ability to climb ladders and stairs, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
