Maintenance MechanicDescription:Position Title:Maintenance MechanicPay Rate:$27.78-$32.54/hourCategory/Shift:Hourly Full-Time: 2-2-3 schedule7a-7p7p-7aPhysical Location :Charlotte Box Plant5419 Hovis RoadCharlotte, NC 28208The Job You Will Perform:Installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair of containerboard plant machinery and equipmentObserves mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, band saw, milling machine, welder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
