We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Cash Applications to join our growing team! As Manager, Cash Applications, you will be responsible for managing the Cash Applications team and related technology to maximize effectiveness, accuracy of payment applications and ensure Brightspeed has a competitive and balanced offering for a variety of payment methods. You will lead and monitor the cash application processes to ensure the effective delivery of payments and to minimize unapplied cash. You will participate in the planning, roll out and implementation of strategic initiatives designed to improve the efficiency of cash applications. You will manage, lead, and develop the Cash Applications team. Come help us build the best and fastest fiber-optic network in America!As Manager, Cash Applications, you will have the following duties:Responsible for timely and accurate application of all customer paymentsResponsible for developing key performance indicators for measuring timely payment applications, cash applications productivity and qualityDevelop short and long-term objectives, goals and strategies that drive the organization to improve timeliness and quality of customer paymentsResponsible for driving process improvement within the organization and to the impacting departments, including Collections, Accounting, and ITDetermines the necessary requirements and drives implementation of improvements to aid in the standardization of customer payment methodsWork closely with Payment Workflow and Cash Accounting teams for payment processing issues such as outages, deposit variances and any change that would affect Cash Accounting, Treasury and CollectionsManage payment vendor relationships including SLA's, invoicing, outages, and RFP's which includes process for incorporating new payment methods, banks, and input channels for all billersMaintain accurate records and files and generates related reportsMaintain a professional cash applications staff with sufficient knowledge, skills, and experience to meet the responsibilities of the Customer Financial Services department including but not limited to hiring, evaluating, monitoring, terminating, counseling, recognizing and developing personnel
