We develop innovative technologies to electrify and automate power distribution systems, equipping our customers (from energy suppliers to large energy consumers like industrial companies) with economical and reliable solutions to overcome the challenges of the transition to sustainable energy.We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Intern. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility.You’ll make an impact by:

Performing quality assurance inspection of incoming materials using data provided by all engineering teams located at our Wendell facility, where we develop and build systems and solutions for smart power distribution.

Expanding your knowledge of engineering practices and processes by reviewing and analyzing data used to design, manufacture, and inspect production material for our portfolio of low and medium-voltage products.

Gaining hands-on experience with welding symbol applications, hardness testing, force testing, and other technical opportunities.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

First year and sophomore undergraduate students seeking a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related majors.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Ability to work part-time Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to interpret technical engineering documents.

Basic experience with measuring devices (tape, calipers).

Positive attitude and willingness to learn a range of skills and subjects from a cross-functional team!

The hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00/hr. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
