Description We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Arden, North Carolina. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity with a focus on email marketing, account management, and event coordination. The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting with the booking and organization of events, liaising with coordinators, and collaborating with the marketing team to create promotional materials.Responsibilities: Assist in the organization and booking of various events, ensuring all details are meticulously managed. Act as the primary liaison with event coordinators at partnering businesses, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. Contribute to the creation of promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team, using your skills in email and direct marketing campaigns. Maintain and manage key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution. Utilize your skills in scheduling to manage a flexible work schedule, including potential 1st/2nd shift work and weekends. Conduct follow-up interviews with potential candidates through online platforms like Zoom, demonstrating your strong communication skills. Use your experience in account maintenance to keep accurate records and monitor customer accounts. Handle event coordination, drawing on your background in event planning to ensure successful and well-organized events. Display your skills in key account management by monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. Use your background in event handling to oversee the successful execution of each event. Requirements Experience in Email Marketing is required Must have a background in executing Direct Marketing Campaigns Proven skills in Account Management and Account Maintenance needed Prior experience in Key Account Management is beneficial Should possess strong skills in Scheduling and Coordinating Events Experience in Event Coordination and Event Handling is a plus Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required Ability to work well in a team and independently Proficiency in using marketing software and tools Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred Familiarity with the non-profit sector is beneficial Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
