Position reports to Chassis Engineering Group Manager for Chassis Structures/18851 (Frames, Cross members, Cab & Engine Suspension) in Greensboro NC. Prefer a candidate with engineering experience at Volvo (someone with knowledge of the Volvo systems/ processes).
TECHNICAL SKILLS The position will support the development and maintenance of chassis structures components.Candidate MUST have experience with cast and sheetmetal parts (e.g., design requirements, forming/ foundry, tooling & machining practices, material types/ grades, etc.).Candidate MUST be familiar with structural and fatigue analysis.Candidate MUST be familiar with PTC Creo tools.Prefer that the candidate have knowledge of vehicle dynamics.
