Role: Monitoring Tools SME Location: Cary, NC (Local only) Type: Contract Job responsibilities: Monitoring Tools Admin SME: Strong knowledge of monitoring tools architecture, Implementation & integration in on-perm & Cloud env Experience in administration and support of one or more of the following monitoring tools Zenoss, Apica, BMC Truesight, Impact Manager Configure and deploy monitoring solutions using above tools Hands on experience in installation & upgrade of monitoring components Manage and support integrations with Service Now and Orchestration tools Excellent understanding of monitoring and Event management work flow Exposure to monitoring dashboards Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts involving Server, Database, Network devices, Application Responsible for gathering monitoring requirement across Application, Server & Database Prepare and maintain Operational SOP and guide internal team members Lead development and manage process Improvement, procedures and system documentation Collaborate with & provide guidance to application development teams and infrastructure teams to ensure they are kept current on monitoring technology developments, best practices, and new initiatives Develop & maintain strong partnership with infrastructure, application development and production support organizations to ensure the successful execution of monitoring capabilities Coordinate with Engineering and other technology groups regarding rollout, support and product life cycle activities of products. Ability to prepare & present monthly/weekly progress reports to client Skill Required: Zenoss, Apica, BMC Truesight, Impact Manager, BMC Patrol
