This team manages and operationalizes the implementation of technical specifications, processes, best practices, and other technical elements of how our network is designed, and deployed.Role DescriptionAs a Program Manager, Deployment Solutions, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and growing a variety of new and existing deployment and engineering models across our outside plant (OSP) and multi-unit (MxU) footprints. Your primary focus areas for this role will be on developing and implementing technical solutions for construction methodology, engineering, and architecture solutions, as well as evaluating and improving the overall deployment processes and procedures. You will also support and be a key cross-functional partner to markets, regions, and central teams in the development of strategy and innovation as it pertains to the MxU environment, OSP deployment, and the overall material qualification process.In this role, you'll:

Act as the domain owner and subject matter expert for all elements of GFiber Fiber’s MxU deployment toolkit and supporting partner of OSP deployment solutions.

Direct scoping, stakeholder buy-in development, and implementation of programs, projects, and other change initiatives driving on specific deployment roadmap elements.

Gather, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate areas for improvement within MxU and OSP engineering, deployment standards, and specifications.

Evaluate areas of opportunity and implement consistent engineering and deployment practices across the market and regional deployment teams.

Conduct in market reviews of deployment methods and the qualification of new materials and post visit recommendations and proposals for change.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in developing and managing project schedules, cost engineering, budgeting and forecasting costs, reporting project status and costs.

5 years of experience with direct engineering, construction, installation, and/or maintenance of MxU properties and Fiber to the Home (FTTH/FTTX) deployments.

Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.

It's preferred if you have:

10 years of direct experience in the MxU, Fiber to the Home (FTTH/FTTX), and Commercial/Enterprise network space.

10 years of direct experience with MxU and OSP fiber engineering, deployments, and maintenance practices.

5 years of experience working with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and database management including AutoCAD, ESRI, and/or shape file functionality.

Experience with managing and communicating with vendors on a regular and continuous basis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000 - $198,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits.
