Role: Desktop Support Engineer Location : Charlotte, NC Onsite from day one Duration: Long Term Job Summary/Responsibilities: Provides technical support and problem resolution for activities with the implementation and installation of computers, network equipment's, audio/video, server and associated peripherals with established enterprise guidelines. Able to lead a smaller scale projects and initiatives. Applies and documents procedures for problems determination/resolutions and /or installation support Builds and maintains positive working relationships and work effectively with customers, management, engineering partners and peers Understands and adheres to policies and guidelines related to travel expenses, overtime and assets management Provides guidelines to customers on equipment standards and expenditures Acts as a role model to others in support of the corporate culture Preferred Job specific technical skills and competencies Technical knowledge o Demonstrates working knowledge of desktop/laptop configuration and operating systems, telephone /VOIP, Audio/video and collaboration technologies, server functionality and configuration, network topology and operating systems Self- management o Able to manage/work within a team. Performs activities relating to network, server, workstation, audio/video, voice and facility installation and problem resolution. Travel and overtime may be required. They would work under moderate supervision : incumbent performs standard and routine assignments independently to conclusion, unusual problems which may require to procedure or processes are referred to supervisor Required Skills: Win 10 OS, VOIP, VPN, Network printers drivers, ServiceNow Years of Experience: 3-6 Years of Experience
