Need One Able Bodied Person to Help Me Move

Greetings All,

I'm looking for 1 able-bodied and preferably strong individual to help me move my stuff out of a 1010 storage unit located in South Asheville and into a room I've secured in Waynesville (about 35 minutes away). I'll be the other mover on this job.

Most of the boxes aren't very heavy except a handful of larger boxes filled with my books. The only other pieces I'll need help with are a few book shelves and maybe a dresser. Everything else is pretty light and can be carried by one person.

Moving companies want to use a minimum of two movers and charge at least $335 for a 2 hour time frame. I only need one person, which I'm willing to pay $100 to load and unload or $50 to just unload. Timewise, it won't take very long (30 minutes to load the truck, 30 minutes for the drive over, and 30 minutes for the unload give or take 15-20 minutes). That's the rate I've been paying to help me thus far, which is plenty fair as you'll be making about $50/hr.

I'd like to move by August 29th, since it's going to be raining during this coming weekend according the weather forecast I've seen that I'd like to avoid. Plus, I'm going to be charged $169 if my stuff is still in storage by the 4th of September, which I want to avoid. So, I'd like to get it all out by Thursday if I can.

I'll likely be using a '12 U-Haul box truck unless you have your own truck in which case I'd be willing to pay extra. Anyway, contact me directly at the number provided, and hopefully we'll be able to work out the logistics on the phone beforehand. Thanks so much, Paul
