NetScaler (ADC) ? HCS Senior Systems Engineer - ISD Network Services

NetScaler (ADC)/Load Balancer - Sr. Systems Engineer As a Senior NetScaler (ADC) Engineer, you will be joining our team of professionals who are responsible for the build, design, and support of NetScaler (ADC) environment including security best practices and standards. Currently, UNC Health has "700 NetScaler VIPs (virtual IP addresses, 8 SDXs, 8 MPXs, 2 ADMs and 60 VPXs. NetScaler (ADC)

• Experience and knowledge of NetScaler VIP configuration, build and support.
• In-depth Experience with NetScaler (load balancing) upgrades (plan, test, build and implement).
• Experience in a HA - Multi-Site enterprise environment (GSLB) with the ability to support, plan and implement structured upgrades.
• Experience with NetScaler (load balance) security protocols/best practices, including Web Application Firewall and SSL VPN.
• Experience with AAA - Authentication Authorization Auditing integration.
• Utilize the Application Delivery Management (ADM) environment for the configuration of monitoring and delegation.
• Experience with networking concepts including but not limited to DNS, segmentation, protocols/services, and HTTP request/response.
• Experience with modern security standards like TLS 1.2 and 1.3, along with SSL encryption methods such as SSL Offloading and SSL Bridging.

• 5+ years of experience with Windows client/server networking including Windows domain and authentication, Active Directory, logon scripts, policies, client and network security, name resolution and time synchronization services.
• 4+ years of experience with Load Balancer/NetScaler (ADC)
• 2+ years of experience with TCP/IP Network model and its different layers; Application, Transport, Internet, Network Access

• Experience with NetScaler (ADC)/Load Balancer build and support Experience with monitoring solutions design and support
• Experience with modern security standards
• Knowledge of TCP/IP based networking and packet capture solutions
• Knowledge of DNS record types
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Client focused approach with strong people skills
• Ability and desire to learn and support a variety of systems quickly
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Effectively communicate issues and resolutions per organization policy and practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

• No licensure or certification required.

• If a Bachelor's degree: Four (4) years of relevant experience.
• If an Associate's degree: Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• If a High School diploma or GED: Eleven (11) years of relevant experience.
