Network Administrator

Description We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our dynamic team and take responsibility for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, switches, firewall policies, Azure environment, and Active Directory.Responsibilities:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, switches, firewall policies, Azure environment, and Active Directory.

Configuring and optimizing network components to achieve maximum performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including connectivity, performance, and security problems.

Monitoring network performance and implementing proactive measures to ensure optimal network operation.

Managing network security, including the development and implementation of firewall policies, access control lists, and other security measures.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and optimize network-related services and applications.

Conducting regular network audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommending appropriate security enhancements.

Assisting in the planning and execution of network-related projects, including network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.

Providing technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network-related issues.

Creating and maintaining comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.

Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, switches, firewall policies, Azure, and Active Directory.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.

Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and VPN technologies.

Proficiency in configuring and managing Azure network resources and services.

Solid understanding of Active Directory administration and group policy management.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar certifications are a plus.
