Description: A CRG client in the Triad area is looking for a Manager of Network Services. This role will manage the networking team and be a resource for complex network operations support and relevant systems projects. This Candidate should be able to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer mobile, wireless, and infrastructure networking operations, ensuring the security and integrity of the networks.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in planning for future strategy of networks and servers.
  • Provide information for and participate in budget process for annual network capital budget.
  • Attend meetings with other departments as needed to analyze networking, infrastructure and security needs of the company and provide best possible service and solutions.
  • Implement Information Technology plans to meet department goals and align with corporate strategy.
  • Conduct research on various networks and products in support of development and procurement.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software for potential use in the network environment.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable on new and existing technologies.
  • Get quotes and additional support documentation as needed and place orders as required to maintain networks.
  • Negotiate and work with outside vendors on new contracts and renewal contracts for products and services used by the Information Technology Networking team.
  • Participate in the configuration and maintenance of cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
  • Mentor team members on technical issues and provide strategic guidance. Serves as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Train managers and users in mobile and wireless network functions and optimal utilization preparing necessary materials.
  • Work closely with PC Technical Support Specialists.
  • Provide assistance as needed to keep all computer operations functioning corporate-wide.
  • Act as resource for escalated, complex questions.
  • Work with Information Technology management to design, specify, and document LAN and Wireless configurations according to user and customer needs.
  • Keep wireless network devices and mobile devices up to date on patches and software updates.
  • Keep all mobile and wireless config files up to date and backed up.
  • Analyze workload, including traffic and utilization trends and make suggestions to IT management as to better ways to maintain traffic.
  • Keep up to date on other network functions and train other personnel on responsibilities.
  • Must be functional in command line, PowerShell, and Python languages.
  • Provide onsite support at grand openings of new centers. Verify WiFi turn up and heat mapping.
  • Assist mall office as needed. Assist tenants with networking issues if necessary.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position supervisors 3+ subordinates.
