WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Payroll Senior Specialist NL, you take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll process for our colleagues across the Netherlands — from stores to offices, DCs, and CSC. You secure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery while contributing to continuous improvements and strong stakeholder collaboration.You will:Run, validate, and deliver the complete payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws, CAO rules, GDPR, and H&M guidelines.Execute financial postings, reconcile wage and pension declarations, and manage suspense accounts including the follow-up of open items.Monitor operational tasks, plan your workload, and ensure deadlines are met - especially during peak periods.Share knowledge and support your colleagues in the Payroll Team, support colleagues across functions, and contribute to improvements, projects, and system updates.Maintain clear, proactive communication with Payroll and cross-functional partners to secure smooth processes and great employee support.WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll be part of the Payroll NL team, working closely with Payroll Specialists, the Team Lead Payroll NL, and partners across Finance, HR, Store Operations, and other local stakeholders. You report directly to the Payroll Lead NL and collaborate daily to secure accurate payroll and efficient workflows.WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…Extensive experience in Dutch payroll administration, ideally in a large or multi-site organization.Strong knowledge of PDL and/or VPS, as well as Dutch payroll legislation, CAO rules and GDPRProven ability to handle complex or non-standard payroll cases (e.g., expats, employees abroad, company cars).Confidence using payroll systems such as AFAS, time and attendance, SharePoint, Excel, and related tools.Fluency in Dutch and English.The ability to independently manage tasks with strong attention to detail.And people who are…Detail-oriented and able to work independently with a high level of accuracy.Analytical, solution-oriented, and proactive in driving improvements.Strong communicators who collaborate well and share information clearly.Structured, reliable, and comfortable working with strict deadlines.Curious, engaged, and eager to keep developing their payroll expertise.Team-oriented, constructive, and hands-on in their approach.Discreet, accurate, and committed to delivering high-quality payroll.WHO WE ARE
