  • Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements for custom applications.
  • Designing and developing custom applications using the Power Apps platform, including data models, user interfaces, and workflows
  • Integrating custom applications with other Microsoft products and services, such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Power BI
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for custom applications, including technical specifications and user manuals
  • Testing and debugging custom applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users of custom applications
  • Staying up to date with the latest features and capabilities of the Power Apps platform and recommending new technologies and techniques to improve application development and deployment.

  • Controls
    • The Senior Power Apps Developer works under the general supervision of the Manager, Applications Development who provides guidelines and professional and technical guidance as needed. The Manager, Applications Development reviews performance periodically in terms of overall effectiveness and approves all requests for vacations and other time off. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

    • Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or business administration with a minimum of 5-7 years of programming experience in a business environment, or
  • The Senior Power Apps Developer should have a high proficiency level of the following skills:

    • 1. Expertise with Power platform, Power Apps, Canvas, SharePoint, and Common Data Model
  • Visual Studio, including development of Active Server Pages and .NET.
  • AIX, Linux, Windows, and utilities
  • Equipment operations and data communication techniques
  • File access methods; sequential, hierarchical directory structure databases, tape processing, etc.
  • Microcomputer operations
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Access
  • Crystal Reports
  • Client/server technologies
  • N-tiered application modeling
  • Distributed application deployment, including via web sites.
  • Database design and implementation
  • Adobe PDF and photo editing tools like Photoshop
