Principal Android Developer

Durham, NC/ Westlake, TX/ Boston, MA/ Merrimack, NH/ any other client site (1 week onsite per month)

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
7+ years of hands-on experience developing
Android apps using
Kotlin in an Agile development environment.
Participated in the release of at least 2 publicly available Apps participating from inception to launch using CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, Artifactory and SonarQube.
Good Knowledge of Google’s
Material Design guidelines and reactive patterns.
Demonstrated experience building multi-module Android Apps leveraging
MVVM and/or
Clean Architecture.
Knowledge of APIs, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and emerging technologies in
Google’s ecosystem to create performant, resilient and robust Android Apps.
Excellent understanding of testing concepts and frameworks using
Junit,
Espresso, and
Mockito.
Good understanding of
Android Jetpack Compose as well as open-source libraries like
Retrofit,
Picasso and
OkHttp to build modern, architecturally compliant, and future-ready apps.
Experience with
Coroutines,
Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is a plus.
Ensuring code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed efficiently and effectively.
