Microsoft Digital employees have deep technical and business expertise, customer insights, and a clear point of view that comes from first-hand, large-scale experience with Microsoft and industry solutions.We are engineers, technology leaders and experts, digital transformation change agents, and customer advocates.We have exciting opportunities for you to innovate, influence, transform, inspire and grow within our organization and we encourage you to apply to learn more!Job Description:The Enterprise Architect, with a focus on Supply Chain for both Cloud and Devices, is a senior-level position, where SAP domain expertise, strong cross-function integration knowledge, strategic thinking and superior inter-personal and communication skills are ‘absolutes’, requiring any successful applicant to be deeply experienced and a mature, well-rounded personality.The role is responsible for the overall design and architecture of all business solutions within and around the existing ECC and surround e.g. IBP, landscape, as well as enabling the upcoming transition to the SAP S/4HANA landscape.As a respected member of Supply Chain Architecture Team, the Enterprise Architect, you will use your deep functional and technical skills in the Supply Chain to;Serve as the conduit between business process and technology, bringing domain expertise across the breadth of Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Order Fulfillment, (SAP IBP, MM, SD, LO, LE, etc.), while ensuring end-to-end process optimization.

Deliver innovative solutions that will increase our operational agility and enable our continued growth and supports ongoing project activities, and deliver maximum business value.

Research and develop new solutions leveraging Microsoft’s Platform and Emerging Technologies (Azure, Machine Learning, IoT, etc.) in support of our evolving business envronment and global Go-To-Market strategy.

ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities:Develop domain reference architecture and provide advisory recommendations on SAP features alignment and usage, and as relevant with supporting/surrounding Microsoft solutions.

As the Subject Matter Expertise for Supply Chain, your will provide guidance to the various projects and delivery teams within the domain area, using SAP and supporting, allied, Microsoft technologies.

Develop, recommend and prototypes practical business solutions on the SAP platform - both in existing SAP NetWeaver, and the new SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Work closely with the Technical Architect teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications, for both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.

Spearhead the remediation of technical debt within the current landscape, through deploying standard solution capabilities.

Work closely with the various Product Groups to leverage Microsoft technologies within our internal eco-system, including the integration of SAP (logistics) with other surround systems e.g. Dynamics 365 C (Retail), to create compelling, Microsoft, Go-To-Market references.

Develop and prototype innovative solutions in and around SAP and Microsoft emerging technologies, e.g. ML/AI, Blockchain, IoT and Digital Twins, amongst others.

QualificationsRequired knowledge, experience and skills:At least 10 years of experience in designing, developing and delivering out of the box and customized solutions implementations within SAP Landscapes

At least 5 years of experience with large technology engagements as a Domain Expert or Enterprise Architect with a specialization in Supply Chain.

A honed, proven ability to engage with customers and partners to understand their business needs and priorities, lead requirement gathering and analysis, and design solutions leveraging appropriate SAP features and frameworks, which drive business transformation.

Excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills

Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation, skills, with a comfort engaging with all stakeholder groups (in particular, project management and development teams who will be responsible for solution implementation, deployment and support), regardless of seniority or experience.

Preferred knowledge, experience and skills:15+ years of relevant SAP or industry experience

Prior experience in architecting solutions for SAP NetWeaver and S/4HANA landscapes

Knowledgeable and skilled in SAP IBP, MM, SD, LO, OER/CS, LE, Ariba SCC + SLP, SD, GATP and peripheral to role, functional domains including but not limited to; SAP MDG, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis.

The ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions quickly

Ability to drive large, complex programs and solutions

Prior experience within SAP SaaS application ecosystem (IBP, Ariba, Logistics Business Network etc.)

Prior experience with emerging technologies including ML, AI, IoT, Blockchain or Digital Twins, a plus.

SAP S/4 HANA certification.

The ideal candidate will be a deep Supply Chain, functional expert, with process and functional SAP capability skills breadth, including (prior) configuration, across a spectrum of business processes.Self-awareness, personal maturity and excellent communication will be well developed skills.
