We are seeking a high-performing Manager who wants to build off their existing experience auditor independence compliance, audit, or accounting, and use such knowledge to add value to Deloitte's quality assurance and risk management practice, expand their expertise with Independence rules, support business growth within the Private Equity sector and develop relationships with Private Equity Investors (PEIs), and leaders across the Deloitte's businesses and global Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN). As a Manager in the PEI CoE, you will supervise a team of professionals in the US and in India to manage independence for Deloitte's largest PEI clients. This will mitigate compliance risk, enabling Deloitte's Multi-Disciplinary growth strategy in the Private Equity Sector.Recruiting for this role ends on 2/15/25Work You'll DoAs a Manager in the PEI CoE, you'll work closely with PEI CoE Managing Directors and Senior Managers, Lead Client Service Partners, Deloitte Independence Directors, PEI clients, and Partners and Managing Directors across Deloitte businesses on independence matters associated with the PEIs and their portfolio companies. This will involve, but be not limited to, the following:
Affiliate considerations for portfolio companies in a PEI structure and related documentation
Accuracy and completeness of PEI information in Deloitte's systems
Evaluation of identified conflicts
Monitor PEI transactions
Assessment of permissibility of services and relationships under applicable independence rulesets
Engagement with PEI clients, as needed
Engagement with the global Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN), as needed
Development of enhanced processes and procedures including, but not limited to implementation of technology and streamlining of workflows in the PEI CoE
Supervising and development of PEI CoE team members in India
Development of educational materials on PEI related independence considerations for engagement teams working in a PEI complex
Participation in relevant PEI meetings to provide independence perspectives from the PEI CoE
Ad hoc support of audit engagement teams affiliated with PEI trees
Ad hoc support on pursuit efforts associated with portfolio companies of PEIs

Bachelors' degree or equivalent
7+ years of relevant experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel up to 5%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Private equity industry experience
CPA or other experience in public accounting
An understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms
Experience collaborating across disciplines - audit, consulting, advisory, technical groups, technology, research, teams
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600.00-$163,100.00.
