Piper Companies is looking for a

Product Architect for Hardware Design to join a dynamic team of individuals working for a company that specializes in the

industrial services industry. The position is in

Charlotte, Nc and will operate on a

hybrid schedule.

Duties for the

Product Architect Include:

• Interaction with OEM, ODM and JDM manufacturing and production partners

• Manage Gearbox's EE Practice

• Confirm that all DFMA Principles are met.

• Run additive manufacturing (FFM, SLA) prototyping and construction of boxes.

• Test and modify prototypes in the Gear box research and development lab.

Requirements for the

Product Architect

Include:

• BS in Engineering or Equivalent Field of Study

• Comfortable working with a variety of 3D Printers

• Advanced Proficiency in Solidworks, CATIA, or Fusion360

• 5 + years of CAD design and 2+ years of interfacing with plastics manufacturing vendors.
