Professional Mechanical Engineer (VA - Relocation)

This position is a full-time, on-site position at either Moore's Altavista, VA or Charlottesville, VA office locations. Relocation assistance is available. Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning and design of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing associated with construction projects that will meet customer needs in the most value-added manner. This also includes the development of standards and procedures along with evaluation of mechanical matters in the field of commercial construction. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Must possess Mechanical P.E. in VA; Licensed Mechanical P.E. in both VA and NC a plus

Great computational and spatial ability while maintaining attention to detail

Advanced working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics and principles

Exceptional computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and other engineering software

Possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently with a teamwork mentality
