The Project Field Officer works to ensure the (quality of the) service delivery to the client or user community. Executes the local delivery of the project conform advice given by the advisor(s)/ project manager and conform SNV procedures and guidelines, making sure timelines and project standards are met. Key ResponsibilitiesService and process deliverySupport training delivery with village facilitators for 2,500 smallholder farmers on agroforestry models and adoption.Provide regular field-based technical assistance, demonstrations, and farmer guidance.Maintain and monitor the five recommended palm-oil agroforestry models and demonstration plots.Assist in achieving 250 hectares of agroforestry adoption by farmers.Develop and maintain riverbank agroforestry demo plots, including SOP preparation under guidance of the agroforestry adviser.Conduct joint field assessments with the agroforestry adviser and watershed/afroforestry consultants.Work with communities and facilitators to promote non–palm oil GAP for alternative livelihoods in buffer zones area.Support communities in buffer zones toward establishing community conservation agreements.Internal and external communicationCollaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.Provide regular progress updates and highlight challenges during project operations committee meetings with partners and donors.Facilitate cross-department coordination to integrate agroforestry activities across programs.Build and maintain strong relationships with government, companies, partners, communities, and local NGOs.Engage farmers, community leaders, and local stakeholders to promote agroforestry and secure participation.Represent the organization in agroforestry, sustainable agriculture, and watershed management meetings, workshops, and conferences.Project data handlingDevelop and implement standard protocols for agroforestry data collection across project sites.Oversee accurate and timely field data collection on farm practices, adoption rates, and environmental impacts.Manage and maintain organized, updated project databases for easy access by relevant stakeholders.Process improvementSupport the Project Manager and Adviser Agroforestry in monitoring the quality-of-service delivery and effectiveness of applied methodology.
